Have you noticed that the things coming at you in your email and on the internet are all about the approach of fall and winter? Putting up food is bombarding my Facebook feed right now and that I can understand...it is time to bring in the harvest but isn't it early to be decorating for fall and Halloween? I have to admit I am enjoying the pictures of the produce though. Check out this jumbo tomato. Doesn't it just scream, "Bite into me & sprinkle me with salt" to you?
Then I caught this fresh fruit picture & thought oh yumm...and I wanted to dash off to the grocery store and make it for tonight! Talk about the power of suggestion! Mamma Mia!
And then the nutrition interest kicked in when I saw this Detox Your Body picture and I wondered to myself if it was in fact an accurate depiction of what foods help cleanse what areas. I really don't know.
I have decided I definitely need a pressure canner. So many of the things I want to can need to be done under pressure. I found this Grab & Go Hamburger and Vegetable Soup today that got added right into my canning recipe file! I have the water bath canning equipment...time to get the pressure canner.
