Larry went back to work... :-(
Larry's only got a 3 day work week so that is a nice short week for him! I have loads to get done in those 3 days. I found some wonderful stuff on the internet but some I like, some I don't. When I first saw this table, I thought, "Need One!". Then I stopped to think about it...do I really want all the bugs that have taken up residence in the fresh greens crawling all over my dinner table? And so this idea promptly bit the dust.
ANd the only reason I am sharing the next one is that I thought it was sure a funky looking chicken coop. My Grandmother's sure didn't look like this...
I can't imagine the spiffy digs make them lay any better though! LOL
People have some of the strangest ideas...this next one for example. Check out the bathtub in a completely open space. Yeah right...I am so going to strip down for all and sundry to see. NOT!!!
Here's a few ideas that I did actually like though... breakfast outdoors. Now where would you get your hands on one of those cereal dispensers? The only place I have ever seen them is in a hotel. Hmmm, maybe a commercial kitchen supply place?
But if you want to kick up your dining a notch, what about on the patio with the Eiffel Tower in the background?
And if you really want to go ALL OUT, check out this patio dining overlooking the scenery in South Africa!
That certainly makes you stop and think... it's all in the presentation, isn't it?
AND, just when I was ready to pout about having my breakfast this morning indoors at home, I saw this and got a little dose of gratitude. It reminds me of a kitchen we saw at Kings Landing, NB:
Perhaps it's because I started reading a new book this week that a couple of book related pictures caught my eye. I love this nook but it would probably be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Would it really get any use? The book fountain is perfect for in front of the local library!
I'll leave you with your morning laugh. Who do you think this might be said about?!
