Tomorrow night we'll be on our way out of town after Larry gets off work. I guess I had better get organized and pack my bags!!! I am becoming a big time procrastinator these days. I finally sent the photos of the neighbour's plant to the Invasive Plant Program, with the Ministry of Agriculture, on Tuesday even though I received their request Friday afternoon.
I have been enjoying my Facebook feed a lot these days. I saw this repurposed door and though, "What a great idea!" How do people come up with this stuff? I certainly don't have the artistic bend in me to breath new life into something old right in front of my face. I can replicate it once I see it, but I don't envision it without prompting.
A lot of what I am seeing online now is all about fall and Halloween...talk about the power of suggestion. I'll try to hang on to summer pictures for you as long as I can but I sure am being bombarded by colored leaves, gourds of all sorts and sizes and it's even invading the recipes I am finding. I am not giving up on summer until I get back from Grand Forks! Hear me up there?
Just in case I don't find any more little pretties for you, here is what I have been able to find that still screams summer to me:
Is there anywhere more peaceful than a Japanese garden?
