A few tasty treats...

Today I want to share a few recipes that have come across my path and I plan to incorporate into the meal plan in the new year.

There's a Pumpkin Chili that looks very good. You can used ground whatever appeals to you but I think I will try it with ground beef replacement.

I like the fact that it's a big batch and would give us loads of leftovers! Here's the recipe link:

I think the next recipe may be a way for me to boost Larry's Omega-3 intake. Let's just keep it our little secret that it's made with salmon...shhhh!

There isn't a prayer that I'll entice him with the Sweet Potato fries but I am sure I can find something in terms of a side that he will like & will complement the burger.

The Salmon Burger link is as follows:

And now for a little something sweet...let me preface it with the fact I don't do frosting. This would be great just as is but if you must, a spoonful of Cool Whip would fill the bill for me.

Here is the link for this Pumpkin Angel Food Cake:

With all things turkey about to come down the pike, it's always good to have a nice Turkey Salad recipe tucked away in your back pocket. I saw this one and it appealed to me.
